I need to travel and do something amazing. I'm trapped. Help set me free?

I have one semester of college left where I’ll get my degree in a vague liberal arts major that will probably amount to nothing, career-wise. I don’t want to move back home after I graduate. I have to get out of the USA…my urge to travel and connect with other people abroad is so strong it’s driving me insane.

I went to Israel a few years ago on birthright and had a blast, but that’s really the only traveling experience I have. But I loved traveling with a group and being social as I traveled. I have also we in some group volunteer travel programs within the US and had a blast.

I am basically chasing the “highs” that I got from these experiences and am looking for more. But I don’t even know where to start.

Does anyone have any suggestions for crazy and awesome things to do abroad when I graduate? I’m just looking for some really legit, respectable programs (that isn’t peacecorps or tefl) but other suggestions are welcome.
