Go to the show or sell the tickets?

So my now exboyfriend and I bought tickets to see Ratatat on my birthday. Since then everything has gone downhill. We’re both moving home and I’m pretty depressed. Since it’s my birthday, he gave me both the tickets to do whatever I want with them. I suggested that we both just go to the show anyway, but he refused (“too many memories,” understandable).
I’ve wanted to see Ratatat for a while, so selling them didn’t initially come to mind. This may sound fucked up, but I invited my previous exboyfriend to go to the show with me (we are just friends now). He really likes the band and it would just create less drama between my girlfriends since the tickets are apparently sold out. They can get pretty catty.
But now that whole “too many memories” thing is hitting me, too. I still want to see Ratatat, but seeing them with anyone besides my boyfriend (ahem, exboyfriend), seems wrong. I would almost rather go alone.
So, should I sell the tickets (and we could make a pretty penny off them, too) or just suck it up and go to the show?
