Do you get a kick out of knowing the odd timing in songs ?

I was listening to The Glass Prison from Dream Theater with some friends of mine, and i knew the exact drum phrasing of the intro and i got kind of a kick out of it, just like i love the fact that I’m usually the only one who knows when Ulrich sets in, in Sad but True… just wondering if it’s a normal thing or if i’m the only one enjoying that sort of stuff ?
