Specifically, when a song is covered, do you listen to it over and over, or can’t you help but “go back” to the original?
I like Adam’s version of Mad World. I’ll listen to Tears for Fears, but never the same. This hasn’t happened to me for “Hallelujah”, e.g. though I liked the Jason kid’s version, too.
Do you have an example of Idol, X factor, ...Talent, et al’s version of a song you like?
