How should I deal with people?

Many people everywhere believe different things. Some are aggressive about it others are passive. For some the mere thought of considering another point of view is very threatening. Some people are open to think about another point of view, but once it has been considered they turn from it and never consider it again. Is this logical? Since none of us know anything past our current existance in this day and age and what is being taught; do we really have the right to tell people how to think and when to think? Should we be accepting of all peoples ideas no matter how rediculous? Is it against human nature to accept everybody and just sit back and do nothing? What do you think?
