Should Hemp/ Marijuana be legal?

Hemp can be used for so many different things and i believe that it could save our environment. soon we are going to run out of trees to cut down and alot of other things. We could use the hemp to make paper products as well as use it to fuel our cars. how big of an impact could hemp make on our lives right now if we could run our cars off of it and not have to worrying about running about because farmers would be able to grow it. Marijuana does not cause cancer like cigs and other tobacco products do. it was actually said that Marijuana could actually cure cancer. Yes the hemp would take over the lumber business like it almost did back in the day which is the reason that it is illegal now because of the lumber companies. but we could be saveing our environment if we used hemp products instead. we could make Paper, Books, Toilet Paper, and millions of other things out of hemp and it can be used as a good cause. so why sould it all be illegal? Just because the goverenment isnt making any money off of it doesnt mean that it should be illegal
