What to do when novocaine causes allergic reaction and cough?

I went to the dentist one week and a half ago and got 3 fillings. As soon as they gave me shots of novocaine, my cheeks imediatly swelled up and took days to go down, giving me a bad bruise. I also now have aquired a perty bad cough that is slowly going into my lungs. yikes!
also: I have to get my wisdom teeth out soon…
any ideas or tips of what to do and to get rid of this cough?
