$950 to spend on a laptop, which one?

I need a laptop for school. Something small enough to carry around campus, so 12–14 inches. It needs to be able to handle HD movies and photoshop smoothly.
I really like the Dell Studio 14z but it’s not sold in Hong Kong (where I live). I would like something similar. Should I get a laptop now or just wait for the 14z to come out in HK?
