How can I tell if a guy likes me back?

Okay so there is this guy I really like. We get into good conversations, and we seem to be really comfortable around each other. So how do I know if he likes me back? What are some of the signs? He jokes around with me a lot and sometimes make fun of me (in a joking way) and we always end up laughing. If he “hurts my feelings” He will apologize and he is truly sincere. He always seems to ask me a question, or start a conversation. He found out tomorrow is my birthday and he gave me a birthday hug. (Little things like that)

So we kind of flirt a lot. But one problem. He is a lot taller than me, does that effect if he likes me? Just please tell me if you think he likes me and how I get him to like me and all that. I really want him to ask me to homecoming. Thanks!
