What is your suggestion for an unforgettable theme party to commemorate my 25th birthday?

So…I’ve hosted and attended a few great theme parties in my time, and I’m trying to brainstorm ideas for the big 2–5 this October.

My friends and I aren’t really into the whole “bros and hos” thing. We’re not trying to look like skanks, we’re trying to have a good time. I’ve been to a moustache party (I dressed as Barry Gibb), an animal party (the hosts actually rented full-on mascot suits), geriatric-themed parties (we all paid homage to our grandparents), etc, etc. I’m looking for an idea of this caliber that is fun, inventive, clever, and most of all, something that people will WANT to dress up as.

While I do love them, I definitely think the decade parties are a little overdone, so I’m not looking to do an 80s or 70s party this time around.
