A letter came through the door today addressed to " Executor(s) of George Wood , Is this a correct way of a letter heading ?

Just so you know no1 here is George or indeed a Wood .
I have never seen a lettered addressed this way before , is it a correct way to send something if so what the hell does it mean ?
Was the people in this house before us trained assassins ?
Normally if the letter is for a minor it says C/O , No ?
