How is the transport of a sugar/amino acid through a kidney epithelial cell different from the mechanism of glucose transport in a liver cell?

I have a very daunting Animal Physiology test tomorrow and this is one of the study questions. However, the liver cell is not mentioned in my notes or in the book.. the teacher is absent-minded, so I’m not surprised. Anyhow, could anyone help me here, please? :)
