Why do calendars still print the phases of the moon each month?

Is this an outdated thing that calendar publishers just do out of habit or is there still a relevant reason for doing so? The only other information that comes printed in calendars are holidays, which makes sense each month and week-to-week. I can’t say I (or anyone I know) have ever needed the phases of the moon.
