Do the military predators caught on Dateline NBC get dishonorably discharged?

I’m watching one of the “To Catch A Predator” shows on Dateline NBC and there are 3 different military personnel (one a 1st lieutenant, one a sergeant) that were caught coming to meet up with young teens. They are arrested and charged w/ a felony. Does anyone know if this is a reason to be dishonorably discharged from the military? Does it make a difference whether the charges stick or not since they were on national television regardless? Just curious… they act as if their careers are over but it never says what happens to them.
