What month do yellow jackets/bees start to die off?

It’s late october (almost halloween) and I just saw a queen yellow jacket land on my screen and stare me down ! It’s been cold and rainy here in Ohio and it’s been nice- no bees ! But with the recent high temps (high 60’s) the bees/Y/J’s are back-especially the queens and they are huge and nasty bitches !
When will they die and is there a place on earth that doesn’t have bees?
I HATE THEM !
