Do you celebrate your wedding anniversary?

Today is my 11th anniversary. The first couple years we were married we really went all out, gifts, dinner, everything. Our daughter’s birthday is 4 days after our anniversary so celebrating our marriage has kind of gone by the wayside. We would much rather spend money on Grace’s birthday than ourselves of course. Plus it doesn’t really matter that much to me. Obviously we love each other and are committed to each other or we wouldn’t still be married. A friend of mine just thinks it’s a travesty that we don’t go full boar on this special day. What do you think?

It was funny though. He is on his computer beside me and I just poked him on the shoulder and said “Happy Anniversary” and he looked at me kinda confused and said “How many years is it now?” LOL
