Where to I find out battery life and other stats on last years iPod shuffle?

I finally found my shuffle that I bought new a year ago and set it up with a great playlist. It is the size of a matchbook and is red.

I want to take it with me on a trip but do not know the battery life. If possible I would rather not bring the charger. (when I travel cross country I prefer to only use a big backpack or duffle so space is a premium.)

Can anyone let me know either where I can find stats for last years iPod shuffle or let me know how long it runs for each charge?
