Should I be upset that my boss is accepting resumes? And would you confront your boss about it?

I am the receptionist and transfer all calls. Today I got a call stating that someone sent their resume over and wanted to know if it was received. I put the person on hold to find (the person who the call was for). I was a little taken back by this. Do I confront my boss about this? Or just leave it alone like nothing happened?
