Do you believe that guys are jerks, or girls are just stupid?

I had a couple girls in my dorm room last night complaining about how “guys are assholes.” Apparently, they’ve both been the victims of guys who used them for sex. One girl claims she slept with one guy because he seemed to really like her (i.e., asked her out to lunch, told her she had pretty eyes). The other girl had feelings for a guy she’d been sleeping with, but he didn’t return them. Are guys really assholes, or are girls just dumb and impressionable enough to fall prey to their methods? Malice aside, having sex with a guy right away sets up a precedent for the relationship. If a girl wants a relationship with a guy, perhaps sleeping with him immediately just isn’t the right way to go about it.
