For you personally what has made 2009 so memorable for you?

Good or bad or both if there is more than one thing that really stands out.

For me it would be flying the nest. I moved into my first flat by myself (unless you count the dogs!) in May 2009 and for the most part I have been really happy. Another memorable event was going to Battersea dogs home “just for a look around” (!) and coming home with a new four legged friend.
