Have you ever quit a job because your employer was a jerk?

I went back to work for a guy I worked for about 9 yrs. ago thinking that he may have changed. After about 4 days into working for him it all came back to me why I quit 9 years ago in the first place. He demeans and intimidates his employees, is incredibly unorganized, displays irrational behavior as if he’s on cocaine or meth, and is just an all around jackass. I Lasted about 2 months to the day until I couldn’t stand it anymore and quit.
Have you ever worked for someone like this? And if so, how did you go about quitting?
