If you were from a highly advanced civilization would you want to contact Humans?

I do not think they would because sadly we are still to aggressive to each other. I do not know how to change this . If the Human race is to survive I think we must .
I admit I distrust China and I strongly dislike those who support the terrorist . What is the solution?
