If you gift for the holidays, did you make more of your purchases in person at a store or online?

I am continually amazed I can call around in frustration checking for items in stores to find them not carried or backordered but online they’re available, most with free shipping, gift wrap and guaranteed delivered before Christmas Day. What’s the point of dealing with traffic or making a drive anymore?
