Can an old iPhone (1st gen) be repurposed as a web-based camera?

I have a 1st gen iPhone that I no longer use. I’d like to use it as a stationary camera, pointed at my plants at home so I (or my friends) can access the camera’s feed via a web browser. Does anyone know how I might go about setting this up?

The camera has no GSM access anymore, but it does have WiFi.
