Website hosting for multple SSLs?

Which web hosting company is most cost effective if I want to put say 5 sites there, each of which I understand needs an SSL (whatever that is) so I can sell ebooks by credit card on each site. (One company says I need a reseller account. Is that really necessary?) What kind of account do I need to ask for there?
