Will the film Avatar set a new benchmark for the filmviewing experience – thats the question thats on my mind after seeing it this afternoon?
My opinion of the effects themselves are that if I’d seen it in 2D, 80 percent of the film would have been the same.
At the cinema where I seen it they showed some adverts in 3D and they were very impressive, and almost stole the show from the film, so the question again was when does a director need to use 3D?
Be interesting to see if there“ll be more and more in 3D, now that the barrier has been raised?
