Question about headaches often mostly in the morning?

I have been having these headaches quite often mostly in the morning when I get up . Sometimes the nite before I will have pop before going to sleep for the nite. I asked my doctor about is it the pop that is giving me the headaches, but she says it may not be that at all it may be something else. It may have something to do with my eating habits. Because, i take high blood pressure pills have been since my son was born about 2yrs now. My doctor says it has to do with my weight. I am 230 lbs and about 5’4. What can I do about this?
