Dexter, is a ShowTime series about a serial killer who is driven by his “dark passenger” to commit atrocious crimes – torture, death and dismemberment – against other serial killers and an occasional unfortunate bystander.
He’s also a family man, with a devoted cadre of people who care deeply for him. He’s clever, and comedic, and sometimes righteous, and he does kill a lot of bad guys.
Is it only a matter of time before there’s a TV show that has a pedophile as a sympathetic main character?
