Girls who like geeks: Where were you when they were in high school?

A recent discussion inspired me to ask where the girls that actually like geeks/nerds/what-have-you now were and what they were doing when they were in high school. Were they in denial? Lusting after the hottest guy in school? Not mature enough to see the value of a good geek?

The question is… Do you like geeks now? Did you when you were in high school? Did the geek guys know it if you did? What were you doing in high school if you weren’t chasing after the boys with your light saber? If you have come to appreciate them later in life, when did this happen for you?
