My laptop's dc power port is loose and I can't charge my laptop, help?

I’m almost sure that’s the problem, i’ve asked local repair shops to do it but they try to make me get a new motherboard. I’ve seen my laptop being fixed on YouTube with a soldering gun and soldering it. My laptop is toshiba satellite a205. Since I’m not comfortable doing this myself, does anybody know how to do this or know someone who can?
