What do you think about sneakers worn with a tuxedo?

I am thinking about getting my 6 groomsmen some sneakers as their groomsmen present (probably some retro looking adidas or pumas) to wear with their tux at my wedding.

Im sure my parents and some of the older people in the crowd wont like it, but I dont really care because I am paying for the entire wedding myself.

Any ideas for sneakers? I was thinking mostly black, but Im up for anything that looks good.
