My brain is exploding...how is it possible for one Flutherite to have written twice as many repsonses as another and yet only have about half the lurve score of that other?

I know what you’re thinking…what a pointless, self-absorbed question! But I ask this in all seriousness. It’s bugging me and won’t leave my head.

I was just surfing my peeps’ profiles when I ran into a particular one, that of a Flutherite newer than myself. This person has typed out twice as much content as me, and yet their lurve score was less than half of my current total. What’s going on here? I have horrible spelling and rather excessive answers, while this person might be some kind of English teacher. To me, this occurrence is very odd.

So now I wonder: are there more dimensions to the lurve point system? Do “lurves” come from more then asking and answering questions and attendance? How is it possible for a generally higher quality Flutherite to come in way behind one of less quality? Is there some secret factor I don’t know about? Or is it all just dumb luck?

Again, I’m not trying to flaunt my “accomplishment” around. I’m just trying to figure out how this is possible…or legal considering Fluther law.

Or maybe I’m just in a cycle of paranoia…
