Right foot falls asleep when I get out of bed in the morning. Any suggestions on what to do?

Every morning for the past few months my right foot seems to fall asleep when I get out of bed in the morning. This morning I fell out of bed because my foot was asleep. It is very annoying and I do not know what to do. Does this happen to anyone else? And if so what did you do to stop it from happening?
