What was it like the first time the L word was used in your relationship?

When did you first say I love you to your current SO? What exactly were you doing? Did you know you were going to say it or did it just slip out? If the other person said it first how did you respond?

I haven’t said it to my bf yet but I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. I want to say it but I want it to mean something- does the context of when you say it play a role in saying it? this is why I haven’t,.. I’m kinda waiting for the right moment
