Do you enjoy standing out in a crowd?

Or would you rather just stay in the background? Does attention feed your ego? Why do many want to stand out? Why do many want to be invisible? Seeing all the familiar six year old avatars on every thread has reinforced my need to stand out.

Today has been pretty surreal.
