What are some favorite words that you have not heard spoken in years, but would like to? Will you please use them in a sentence?

Recently, @MissAnthrope used the word “ramshackle” in a comment. I adore that word, but had completely forgotten about it. I’m sure to overuse it wildly in the coming weeks.

My Grandfather used to say “I’m a fixin’ ta”, “I reckon”, and “get shed of” all the time. Never hear them any more.
