Could asthma be causing my severe migraines?

I had problems with exercise induced asthma two years ago. Eventually after medication I got to a point where I could run without issue but hiking and swimming were out of the question. But now all of a sudden for the past couple of months I have been getting these migraines that have been making me uber bitchy and mean. I thought stress was causing them until today when I was walking to my car and my head started pounding and I realized that I couldn’t breathe right. Is there any chance that asthma might be causing this? I wanted to do some research before I asked my doctor because I’m in the military and asthma could get me an honorable discharge and I’m not ready to get out of the service yet. Any thoughts?
