What do people think of overweight belly dancers?

The belly dance community is very supportive of all it’s dancers, no matter what shape or size they are, but you never see any mainstream belly dancers that aren’t slender or thin. How does the public feel about dancers with more meat on them? And if you were to hire one, would it matter if they were chubby, even if they danced well?
