NSFW: Fluther women: how can I get rid of this bump?

This is semi unpleasant, just to warn you!

I’ll jump right in. I shaved down there about 2 weeks ago or a week and a half. Every once in a while after I shave, since I get somewhat irritated down there from itching and rubbing (I don’t know why I even do it!) I will get a little bump that days later will pop and have a small amount of pus in it. So about a week ago I got one that looked like any other one so i tried to get it to go away just like I would with any other one. It stayed the same size for several days but then it grew. After looking at it closer, I think there is actually 2 bumps and one or both may be ingrown hairs. They have no “head” on them to pop, but they are large now and feel/look like ingrown hairs. But usually with ingrown hairs I can get the other end of the hair to come out easily. But these ones are getting painful! And it’s in a bad spot where my boyfriend will sometimes hit the spot with his pubic bone during sex and it is really not a good feeling at all. So does anyone know what I’m talking about or know what might make them go away? Any help would be so greatly appreciated.
