Are t.v. court shows stupid?

Every time I come home, my mom or step dad or aunt is watching a court show on t.v., for example Judge Joe Brown. I think they are very stupid and a court is a court, it should be private and is no one elses buisness but the jury, judge, and the two case takers. I would understand my aunt watching them though because she is a lawyer.
Anyway, do you think that t.v. court shows are stupid?
