Should i join as a TACP or A-10 Crew Chief?

Ok so one of these 2 will be what I’am doing for the next 6 years TACP http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tactical_Air_Control_Party or Crew Chief working on A-10s. I know the TACP is much more physical and mentally intense but also much more rewarding. But my main goal is get my bachelors degree and try to be an A-10 pilot. I guess what im asking is what do you think would make becoming a pilot easier? I just need help deciding which one. And the TACP has a $20,000 bonus.
BTW im 18 right out of high School and going to college this fall.
