Have you ever cooked Ugly Skiitake mushrooms or Okra?

At the farmer’s market today, I bought ‘Ugly Shiitake’ mushrooms (which seem to be similar to regular Shiitake mushrooms) and Okra. I have never cooked with either of these and wanted to know if you have any recipes that you have enjoyed.

I’m thinking about making a tomato sauce with the shiitake mushrooms in it. And for the okra, bringing it to a boil with canned tomatoes and some cayenne pepper, but I’m not sure!
