What is the best way to wean off Propranolol 5 mg 3x a day? And how long?

I want to know from people’s experience. I’ve been on it for about 5 months and I’m taking myself off. I am on it for heart palpataions. And no I am not going to talk to my dr for many reasons so don’t suggest it. I’m asking for advice from people other than that. Dr’s and nurses or people who have gone through it’s advice are most welcome and preferred.
