Will the new Ford Taurus SHO vehicles be accepted as police cars?

Asked by john65pennington (29258points) August 2nd, 2010

Ford Motor Company is taking a big gamble that their new Ford Taurus SHO vehicles will be accepted as police vehicles throughout America. i assume that Ford is trying to replace the Crown Victoria with the Taurus SHO, in order to be competition with Chevrolet’s corner of the police car market with the Chevy Impala, currently used across America. Question: Ford Taurus owners, since you have owned one of these vehicles, do you believe the Ford Taurus SHO can withstand the torture thats forthcoming as a marked police vehicle?
