(NSFW) Are there any rules, taboos or social niceties that apply to most if not all sex clubs and parties?

I have heard of sex clubs and parties, but never actually been to either myself. I would imagine that each event has it’s own specific rules and expectations, but are there blanket rules that apply to all or almost all of these kinds of events? That is to say, when walking into a party or a club, are there certain expectations one can have?
