I'm about to meet with a realtor tomorrow, any tips to make sure I get the place?

There’s a place I really want to get. Certainly a diamond in the rough. I’m meeting with the agent tomorrow. I don’t think I have super “good” credit, but that’s only because I don’t deal with credit cards much. So more of a lack of credit than bad things.

I make good money and have always paid rent on time where I’ve lived for the past 4 years, and have been a great tenant.

How can I get an edge on someone else applying for the same place? Is there something more I can do than just give them my social for a credit check?
