And when did this new ask a Q layout start ?
People seem to want to change what shouldn’t be touched why .

the new layout said start discussion and solve a problem , then opened to the Details window then the topics , when did this start i must say i don’t really like it that much . But i will get used to it will take a couple Q’s to happen tho .

The new ask layout started a bit ago, there’s a blog post on the side. All new things are usually in blog posts. Keep an eye on it.

And there’s another discussion going on about this down a few questions.

Its been going on for a few weeks in beta. (apparantly I was beta tesing it and I never realised) The idea is to make people think about the Fluther guidelines before they post so they don’t get upset when their question is pulled for moderation later.

@dynamicduo I did not see the post a few down my computer went scatty . Feel free to pull it i don’t mind wouldn’t want to clutter fluther with a double post .

I’m not a mod, I can’t pull things :)

I like when the moderator pulls things.

Here’s another thread on this same topic.

I think based on the other question and yours that they released the new format today. They talked about developing it when they were in France.

It appeared as a beta a while back.

It is more a framework than any kind of actual change.

I can’t seem to see my question as I type it or even after I type it before I hit the ask question button, so I can’t see if I have made any typo’s. Is it just me?

You can’t see it when you hit Continue? It goes to the review mode with edit next to each section.

@Marina Ok, I just went through with a question (except for actually submitting it) and I must have missed the continue button, because I can now see it. Thanks.

it seems that it’s mostly people who have not been here very long, too, which i find really strange.

There is one thing that would go well with fluther , a drop down box as you type a Q so you can see you can see if its been asked already .

My favorite thing on the wish list is a check box in the “Activity for you” section so you can remove a group of them at once instead of scrolling back to the top after every “stop following.”
