When you were a child, what was the most serious injury you suffered?

Apologies for bringing back some painful memories but hey, talking about it helps XD So yeah, injuries accidents & mishaps. We all experience our fair share, particularly in our childhood. Always on the go, rough & tumble, scratches & scrapes….& that’s just with the girlfriends :¬D I reckon I had it pretty lucky throughout my formative years. Never broke a bone or received any stitches in a gaping wound. The worst I can remember is when another kid at school knocked me off the climbing frame, i’d have been around six or seven at the time. I banged my chin on the metal bar which cut me quite badly. As I say though, no stitches for me. How about you? I shall probably read some responses through my fingers, i’m a bit squeamish see :¬(
