Know anything about large tonsils?

My 5 y/o daughter has “large tonsils.”
Last year, the doctor said it isn’t usually a big deal, but lately she has been saying that it feels like she swallowed something that is stuck and that it feels like she can’t swallow even though she can. They do not hurt, but they are uncomfortable.
She has never had tonsillitis and has had very few ear infections.
Has anyone ever experienced this? Is there anything that made it feel better and how did it eventually resolve itself?
