How long does it REALLY take to drive from Mayaguez, PR to Rincon, PR?

Google maps says that it takes 30 minutes, but on some hotel websites it says that it takes 15 minutes. Has anybody driven this route?

It’s 44 miles on PR Route 2. You’re not going to do it in 15 minutes unless you can drive at about 160 mph for that distance. I’d plan on about an hour, and considerably more at night, at heavier traffic times of day or in bad weather. (Mapquest says just over an hour. I’ve done the drive from the airport at San Juan to near Ponce and back, and that was also about an hour.
